This mural was one of three separate works commissioned bythe SA Post Office for the Durmail canteen in their Durban branch.

The Ndebele style was chosen because it was common to none of the staff's backgrounds there, so avoiding treading on anyone's cultural corns in that while the style echoed that of the
Ndebele, it had a modern and a Western twist to it.
